Hygiene is of utmost importance in the food industry. For that reason °Celsius? thermal screw conveyors have been designed such that rinsing and control are very simple. Our thermal screws are usually trough-shaped and are almost exclusively executed in service-friendly RVS.
Another important advantage of the thermal screws with respect to the heat exchangers is that the system is closed. No air filtering (which can never be contamination-free for the full 100%) and no undesirable odors.
The following processes are applied in the food industry: cooling, heating, keeping on temperature and drying.
